BISEXUALITY
“Sometimes people fall in love with people, not genders.”
In a world full of men and women, being unique is great. Being a LGBTQ+ person is not a misfortune; it is a blessing from the above. Celebrate Bisexuality Day is observed on September 23rd every year. This day is celebrated to remind people about the hardships and struggles every Bisexual person faces. A bisexual person is a person who has interest in both the gender; what is wrong in that? On this day members of SM Volunteers joined their hands and organised a legal awareness program on Celebrate Bisexuality Day at Cyberdome, IT park from 1.30 to 3.30 PM. With them Aadhithya Hridhaya, final year-MBBS student, Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital & Research centre, and DR.B.Mythili Gnanamangai, Assistant Professor of biotechnology department, KS Rangasamy College of Technology lent their hands as the event’s chief guest to address our students about the things, Queer sexual person faces and the hardship they overcame. At the end of the event, students gave their feedbacks on the way they were benefited. By this event a student from our college came forward and shared his path of struggle and the way he cherished his journey as a bisexual person. The event ended with the Feedback session COLOURFULLY.
