In Order to reduce the waste produced and to initiate the thought of reusing, we started the thought of celebrating smokeless bhogi. The old stuff we burn can cause great damage to the environment, which could even result in another pollution pandemic. To stop it smokeless bhogi is also one of the way, rather than burning old stuff we can start planting trees was made to reach people was gain of the event. Green initiative on this boghi, to minimize the poisonous effects of fire burnings and maximize the happiness with earthen lamps was propagated to the public covering widespread people to motivate them on celebrating the boghi in a green way without affecting the environment. As insisted by the Tamil Nadu pollution control board we took a step to go with the cause by encouraging the students to celebrate smokeless bhogi. It is a small step toward environmental welfare. This would cause less release of toxic gases. Smokeless bhogi can be a change that our world needs. Students learned responsibility by caring for the plants, learned how to communicate and compromise with each other, gained leadership skills, and developed self-confidence when disbursing the pamphlet on smokeless bhogi. They also developed skills of practicing the protection of the environment. They covered areas KSR kalvi nagar, Tiruchengode, Pallipalayam, Vyaramangalam Kuttipalayam, Attavanai ,Irayamangalam, Salem, Erode, Bhavani, Karai Ellapalayam, Gangapuram, Komarapalayam,Bhavani, Kadachanallur and Ottakuthirai and created awareness among the people. The distribution of the pamphlet was done on 11- 02 - 2022. It is the step to take the initiative on “GO GREEN”
