World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. The first reason that is causing water stress around the world is the growing human population at the same time as the water supply has remained the same and due to reducing number of trees.Trees are the most important source for rain.Water use has grown at more than twice the rate of the human population over the last century in part due to industries, such as agriculture, which account for 70 per cent of global freshwater use. On the view of world water day k.S.R college of technology volunteering team has conducted a debate on “யாம் பெற்ற நீரை பெறுமா நாளைய வையகம்” to give a clear cut view on the topic and give awareness on saving water for our next generation and also we had the inauguration of our college Tamil mandram “யாதுமாகி நின்றாய்” to provide oppurtunity for the students to be involved in other co- curricular activities and to bring lot more interest on our own language“தமிழ்”.we had the inauguration with the presence of our principal,deans , tamil mandram members and our students on 28th March 2022 from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm at the Founder hall.
